Haiti trip was a success!!!

We made it back safe and sound with a whole sling of unforgettable memories. YouthMerch and Got Your Back Movement spent the past week in Quanaminthe, Haiti to deliver over 500 school uniforms to an orphanage called Danita's Children. Our journey started out with us walking through the Dominican Republic market to get through the border into Haiti. What would normally take like 15 min to walk across took us about 2-3 hours! The market is open once a week so people come from all over the country to stock up, and it is utter chaos to say the least. It was seriously pick pocket central and we no doubt stuck out like a sore thumb. Anyway, we made it through the border and into the orphanage where we were greeted by all the kids and staff. This place was so orderly and just peaceful in the midst of chaos right outside the walls. You could tell that this place was just a miracle and that God had his hands covering these people. We spent the next few days capturing footage and delivering all the school uniforms into each classroom. The kids were so happy and proud to be wearing a brand new uniform! This trip was more than a success. We learned so much from these kids and staff and will forever be changed. We look forward to our return there and will continue to provide clothing relief/school uniforms to Danita's Children. Thanks again to everyone who helped make this trip possible. Also, check out www.GYBMovement.org to see some pictures from our trip as well as a new video that will be coming soon.
